Auntie-Approved Adventures is a group travel community created specifically for African-American women ages 50 and better who want to explore the world with like-minded women.
We combine sisterhood, cultural experiences, premium accommodations, and professionally planned itineraries so you can simply show up and enjoy the experience.
Our travelers are African-American women ages of 50 and better. The average age is between 65-75, but we have active aunties well into their 80’s.
Our trips are designed with African-American women in mind, but we welcome anyone who appreciates our community and travel style.
Yes. Men are welcome when traveling as the guest of a registered female traveler.
Children and grandchildren may also join select trips when accompanied by a responsible adult. All guests are expected to be respectful of fellow travelers and contribute to a positive group experience.
Please note that some trips may be designed specifically for adults or may have age restrictions. Any restrictions will be clearly noted on the trip page.
Will I Fit In?
Every trip includes first-time travelers. Our welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people and feel like part of the group.

We welcome women regardless of relationship status.
Many of our travelers are married, single, divorced, widowed, or simply traveling independently.
Not at all! Our travelers are primarily women ages 50 and better, with many in their 60s and 70s—and we’re proud to have active travelers well into their 80s.
Traveling Solo & Roommates
Absolutely.
Many of our travelers come alone.
You are welcome to book a single room or participate in our roommate matching program when available.
If your roommate cancels, we will discuss available options with you, which may include roommate matching, securing a replacement roommate, or converting to single occupancy if available.
On select trips, we offer roommate matching for travelers who would like to share a room and reduce costs. Roommate matching is not available on every trip, so please review the trip details before booking.
Absolutely. Single occupancy is available on most trips for travelers who prefer their own room.
Booking & Payments
Yes.
Most of our international trips include convenient monthly payment plans that allow you to secure your space with a deposit and pay over time.
Deposits vary by trip.
Each trip page will clearly display the required deposit amount before booking.
We accept major credit cards.

We recommend booking as early as possible. Early booking gives you the best availability, more time to make affordable monthly payments, and helps ensure you don’t miss out if the trip sells out.
Yes. You may make additional payments at any time before your final payment due date.

Yes. Most itineraries include free time so you can shop, relax, or explore on your own.
Most trips involve moderate walking and sightseeing. Please review the itinerary to ensure the activity level is right for you.
No. You’re welcome to skip scheduled activities and enjoy free time at your own pace.
Travel Protection & Policies
Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case an unexpected event affects your travel plans.
Due to our contractual commitments with hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your travel investment should an unexpected situation arise.
If a trip is canceled by Cruise Jet Travel, you’ll be notified promptly and provided with the options available based on the circumstances and supplier policies.
